MATH IS A LANGUAGE: The book starts with a brief analogy of the author relating learning math with learning a new language.

CHAPTER ONE - SOLVING FOR X, ONLY ONE X: Learn how to solve equations involving only one variable using operations like addition, subtraction, multiplications, divisions, exponents, radicals and parenthesis.

CHAPTER TWO - DIFFERENT X’S, SAME POWER: Some times equations have more than one x (or any other letter used as variable). This chapter explains how to group them in equations having basic arithmetic, fractions and parenthesis. In this chapter all variables have the same exponent.

CHAPTER THREE - DIFFERENT X’S, DIFFERENT POWERS: Now not only equations will have more than one x, but now the x’s will have different exponents. This chapter explains the methods of common factor, zero product property, factorization, quadratic formula, polynomial and synthetic division.

CHAPTER FOUR - X IN THE EXPONENTS: This chapter increases the level of difficulty by introducing equations having variables in the exponents. Two methods are shown, the similar bases method and the logarithms method.

CHAPTER FIVE - X IN LOGARITHMS: Chapter four used logarithms to solve for variables in the exponent. Chapter five uses properties and rules to solve for variables inside of logarithms.

CHAPTER SIX - SPECIAL CASES: Disguised quadratic equations, completing the square and systems of two or more variables are solved in this chapter.
